Arrow Electronics receives EPCOS distribution award for Baltic

Award recognises sales success for EPCOS passives, magnetics and filters

EPCOS has presented Arrow Electronics with an award in recognition of the outstanding sales performance of EPCOS components in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania during 2008.

The Baltic Distribution Award reflects the success that Arrow's Baltic teams have had in working with customers with variety of EPCOS components. These include capacitors, thermistors, varistors, surge arresters, SAW filters, RF modules, ferrites, inductors, chokes, transformers and EMC filters.

Commenting on the award, Hans Öhman, the Nordic distribution manager for EPCOS, said: "Our relationship with Arrow goes from strength to strength. The success that we have seen in the Baltic region is further evidence of Arrow's commitment to and support for our comprehensive product range."

Hanno Septer, Arrow's general manager for the Baltic region adds: "Arrow provides comprehensive sales and engineering support for OEMs and CEMs in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This support has played a key role in securing the latest award as it is fundamental to our ability to address customer requirements with the EPCOS technology portfolio."
