Arrow Electronics UK, Analog Devices and ARM to host a "Healthcare Technology Day"

January seminar at Cambridge University covers key design challenges for engineers developing medical applications

Arrow Electronics UK has teamed up with Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) and ARM® to run a UK seminar targeted at engineers designing advanced electronics products for the healthcare market.

The Healthcare Technology Day is being held at the University of Cambridge's Murray Edwards College on 20th January 2010 and registration for the event is now open at http://www.arrowuk.com/events-training/seminars_events/ad_medical.

During the day, speakers from Arrow, ADI and ARM will cover a variety of design issues relevant to healthcare applications such as patient monitoring, ultrasound systems, computer tomography (CT) and digital X-ray equipment.

Attendees will learn about topics such as power supply isolation requirements, signal conditioning and data conversion techniques, human interface technologies and sensor design. There will also be an introduction to embedded solutions for healthcare applications. During the session breaks, seminar attendees will have the opportunity to see live application demonstrations.
