Power Interconnect for any Application

FCI’s wide range of electronic power interconnects includes versions for communication, data, consumer, and industrial and instrumentation applications. The company can supply a variety of form factors in cost effective, standard or custom packages.

Designed for ease of design-in, the company’s power connectors are performance-driven for use in servers; storage enclosures; power supplies; process controls; point-of-sale systems; or transmission, access, and switching equipment for wireless, wireline and enterprise communications.

The range includes eight separate families of connectors. Power D-sub devices are part of the company’s proven range of full- or mixed-power connectors, for PCB or cable applications. Current-handling capacity is up to 40A. As well as solder-to-board and press-fit parts, FCI now offers pin-in-paste versions.

The Pwrblade® System is a rugged board-to-board power connector system with a wide variety of custom AC signal and AC and DC power configurations for pluggable power supply interfaces, meeting Intel's SSI specifications and capable of handling up to 48A.



HCI™ Modules integrate signal and moulded guide pins with high-current-capacity contacts. Each high-current contact is capable of supporting 60A, for use in higher power distribution systems where increased linear power density is desired.



The Millipacs® Type D + Power modules are hard metric products with a variety of power contact options and 40A maximum current.

The Metral® family products are also available in high-power variants rated at up to 80A, which can be used in combination with any signal module.



Airmax VS™ Power products supplement the hard metric based high-speed/high-density Airmax VS range of signal connectors and guidance modules, providing currents up to 80A.



Also available is the Power Edge Card, a low profile, one-piece power connector, available in different configurations with a maximum of 32 power and signal contacts. Vertical, right-angle or straddle-mount variants provide currents of up to 7A.

USB+Power connectors offer five additional power lines integrated above an USB 2.0 type A receptacle. The additional lines provide over 6A of power, for high-power peripherals.
