Industrial Temperature 32-Bit SoCs for LCD Solutions
ARM9-based SoCs suit industrial and outdoor colour LCD applications
Now suitable for operation between -40°C and +85°C, Sharp’s latest BlueStreak, ARM-9 based System-on-Chip (SoC) devices are ideal for LCD-based applications including industrial and outdoor equipment, in-car entertainment systems, and other designs requiring extended temperature operation.
The LH7A400 and LH7A404 Bluestreak devices operate at respective speeds of 245MHz and 266MHz throughout the industrial temperature range. Both devices are based around the ARM922T™ RISC core and provide a fully integrated SoC solution for applications using colour LCD interfaces. The on-board programmable LCD controller offers resolution to 1024 x 768, up to 64k colours and 15 grey shades, and supports all common STN and TFT devices.
High levels of integration lower overall system cost, reduce development cycle times and accelerate product introduction. Fully static designs, power management units, low voltage operation (1.8V Core, 3.3V I/O), on-chip PLL, along with the low power RISC core, ensure high performance at a low current draw.
