Available from stock, Astec Power Industrial Series DC/DC converters are compact, high quality, and cost-effective devices with industry standard footprints and pinouts. As a result, designers can use the new converters to address demands for future-proofing and multi-sourcing in new designs, as well as a route to higher quality, more cost-effective DC/DC conversion in existing designs - without costly board re-design and layout.



Designed for applications requiring a wide input voltage range, the new Astec ASA and AEE low-power Industrial Series DC/DC converters feature 1500VDC isolation, power options of 6W, 10W and 15W, and offer single and dual outputs of between 3.3V and 15V. Built-in protection functionality and compact, encapsulated DIP packages provide designers with flexible, minimum component count conversion solutions that are ideal for applications where space is at a premium.

Astec ASA 6W and 10W DC/DC Converters

The Astec ASA devices are supplied in industry-standard DIP packages measuring 31.8mm x 20.3mm x 10.2mm (1.25 inches x 0.8 inches x 0.4 inches) and provide a choice of 6W single- and dual-output and 10W single-output variants.

Input voltage ranges for the 6W ASA devices are wide range 9VDC to 36VDC or 18VDC to 75VDC. Available output voltages are 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 15V for the single-output 6W converters and 5V/-5V, 12V/-12V and 15V/-15V for the dual output 6W parts. The 10W ASA DC/DC converters offer a choice of 18VDC to 36VDC or 36VDC to 75VDC inputs and single output options of 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V and 12V.

Astec AEE 15W DC/DC Converters

Astec AEE DC/DC converters deliver 15W in DIP packages with industry standard footprints of 25.4mm x 50.8mm (2.0 inches x 1.0 inches) and board mounting profiles of 11.3mm (0.44 inches).

The 15W AEE converters offer a choice of wide range 9VDC to 36VDC and 18VDC to 75VDC inputs. As with the ASA family, all common output voltages are available.
