Arrow Linecard Reflects Technology Advances and Importance of Support

You only have to look through the stories in this or any previous issues of Arrow Innovation to see the diverse and sophisticated nature of the electronic components and sub-systems available to today’s electronic designers.

What’s more, significant advances are being made across all fields of electronics, from semiconductors to passive components, electro-mechanical devices to connectors, and displays to sub-assemblies. Advanced semiconductor drivers, microcontrollers, DSPs and programmable SoC devices, for example, are helping designers to deliver ever-increasing levels of functionality and performance while decreasing the level of discrete circuitry. Capacitors and resistors no bigger than a grain of sand are helping to free up board space.

The latest connectors are carrying more data at higher data rates and in smaller form factors than ever before. MEMS sensors are taking precision measurement to new areas. And power supply and converter technologies are helping designers address the challenges of Intermediate Bus Architectures (IBAs) and low-voltage, high-current processors, memories and programmable logic.
