New Brochure Covers Expanded Range of Power Products

For the first time, details of all standard Astec and Artesyn AC/DC and DC/DC power products have been brought together in a single brochure. The result is an essential reference for engineers looking for everything from the smallest PoL converter to bulk power systems capable of delivering many thousands of Watts.



Following last year’s acquisition by Emerson, Artesyn Technologies has joined Astec as part of the Emerson Network Power group. And now, under the banner ‘Embedded Power for Business-Critical Continuity’, Emerson Network Power has published the very first shortform brochure to provide details of all standard Astec and Artesyn AC/DC and DC/DC products.

Available now from Arrow, the new brochure is designed to provide engineers with a fast, easy-to-use means of finding the optimum power source for a given application. The brochure is divided into sections on AC/DC power supplies and OEM embedded DC/DC converters, with each product entry listing key technical specifications and performance data.

Among the entries on single- and multiple-output AC/DC supplies, readers will find information on low-power products offering output powers from 25W to 350W, medium-power products rated to 1500W and high-power supplies for applications with requirements to almost 5kW. Information on rack-mounted bulk and distributed power supplies, DIN rail options and dedicated medical supplies is also provided, while intelligent power products offering a wide variety of flexible control and monitoring options are also covered.

In terms of DC/DC converters the new brochure covers industry standard isolated devices in sixteenth-, eighth- quarter-, half- and full-brick formats, and bus converters including the latest Advanced TCA-compatible devices. Industry standard non-isolated Point of Load (PoL) converters include POLA (POL Alliance) products and devices designed to deliver the local power requirements of memory and VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) processors. Full details of high-power 300V converters, low power and industrial products, in DIP and other standard packages, and devices for low-profile applications are also provided.
