High Current Inductors Feature Low Loss Performance for Maximum Battery Life 
Low resistive and core losses combine with close DCR tolerance for high efficiency and stability

IFLP-4040DZ-01 high current inductors from Vishay Intertechnology, for applications up to 36A, display low DC Resistance (DCR) of 0.88mΩ for enhanced operating efficiency. In addition, close DCR tolerance of 3% simplifies use in circuits that also include current sensing.



The IFLP-4040DZ-01 series is available in the standard 4040 surface mount inductor footprint measuring 10.16mm by 10.16mm, bringing the additional benefit of a low maximum height of 4.00mm as well as 20% lower DCR/µH compared to typical alternative high current inductors. The new inductors handle high transient current spikes without hard saturation and operate at a frequency up to 5MHz.

The low DCR and ferrite core material of the IFLP-4040DZ series combine to minimise power drain in battery driven systems, eliminating core loss increases over time and giving end users reliable long term performance.

Voltage regulator modules and DC to DC converters will benefit from the IFLP-4040DZ inductors to achieve space and power savings in end products including next generation mobile devices, notebooks, desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, portable gaming devices, personal navigation systems, personal multimedia devices, and automotive systems.
