Vishay Intertechnology's TNPW e3 series of high stability thin film flat chip resistors are suitable for any application where reliability and stability are major concerns. They offer extended resistance ranges in seven industry standard sizes that include smaller outlines, enabling high precision in space constrained applications.



The TNPW e3 devices provide extremely stable and reliable operation even under harsh environmental conditions. They offer high load life stability of better than ±0.1% after endurance test 1000h at +155°C. They also exhibit superior moisture resistivity characteristics, better than ±0.25% after +85°C/85% relative humidity for 56 days.

The TNPW e3 series resistors are particularly suitable for use in high accuracy designs where board space is limited. Applications include space systems, satellites, avionics, automotive electronics, test and measurement and medical equipment. With a variety of different case sizes available - ranging from 0402 up to 2512 - the new resistors cover the whole range of rated power dissipation. The devices feature tolerances ranging from ±1% to as low as ±0.1% and Thermal Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) values ranging from ±50ppm/K to as little as ±10ppm/K. Standard resistance values range from 10Ω to 8.87kΩ

The resistors are suitable for processing on automatic SMD assembly systems and for automatic soldering using wave, reflow, or vapour phase. They are RoHS compliant and their pure tin plating provides compatibility with lead free soldering processes and those containing lead. Variants are also available with tin-lead solder contacts for applications that are exempt from RoHS regulations.
