Precision Resistor Networks Deliver Tight Tolerance in SOT and SOIC Packages 
Thin-film devices provide performance comparable to wirewound and hermetic alternatives

Vishay Intertechnology’s MPM and ORN high precision matched-pair and quad resistor networks provide industry-leading ratio tolerance of just 0.01% in standard moulded SOT-23 and eight-pin SOIC packages. The MPM and ORN series devices combine space savings and superior performance with resistive elements integrated within a single package on a common substrate, resulting in near-identical conditions over time and temperature for each element.



These thin-film devices provide an alternative to traditional wirewound or discrete devices in circuits that require excellent tolerance specifications, such as instrumentation amplifiers, precision voltage dividers, and bridge network circuitry.

In addition to being precision-matched to 0.01% ratio tolerance for like resistance values, devices in the MPM series feature Temperature Coefficient Ratio (TCR) tracking of ±2ppm/°C and provide stability for all surface-mount applications. Standard divider ratio options for the MPM series range from 1:1 to 100:1. A large selection of off-the-shelf standard divider ratios ensures immediate availability of an appropriate component for most applications. Custom non-standard ratios are available on request.

Built with a highly stable thin-film process and packaged in a rugged, moulded eight-pin SOIC construction, the ORN family of Dual-In-Line (DIL) resistor networks feature four isolated resistors with standard 1.27mm (50mil) pitch lead spacing. With close TCR tracking of ±5ppm/ºC and tight ratio tolerance down to 0.01%, ORN devices are well suited for use in unity gain operational amplifier circuitry. Nine standard resistance values are available, ranging from 500Ω to 100kΩ.
