Updated Preferred Parts Catalogue Allows Simple Location of Interconnection Products

A new revision of Tyco Electronics’ free ‘Preferred Parts Catalogue – Interconnection’ features over 500 new products. The catalogue allows engineers quickly and simply to select the correct interconnection product for their application.



The new release builds on the tremendous success of the original document, highlighting the preferred interconnection products from Tyco Electronics in a user-friendly format, with selection of products by style or application.

The catalogue is divided into four sections (Internal Equipment Connection, Input/Output Connectors, Memory & Socket Products and Terminals & Splices). Products may be quickly found through the product locator index by product type, application, connector centreline or current rating, with all information presented in a concise matrix layout. An additional product technology overview allows the location of products pictorially.

The consistent internal page layouts include essential specification and dimensional details, mating connector information and key features to allow quick and easy verification of product suitability. All products within the catalogue are RoHS compliant and available from stock or with very short lead time.

The catalogue is completed with a full index of part numbers and a dedicated page for application tooling.
