The TDA9935 from NXP Semiconductors is a dual 14-bit Digital/Analogue Converter (DAC) designed for broadband wireless and instrumentation applications. Thanks to its direct IF conversion capabilities, the device delivers outstanding dynamic performance in multi-carrier wireless environments.
Supplied in an HTQFP80 package, the TDA9935 features an internal sampling rate of up to 160MSample/S (MSPS). It provides an extremely competitive solution for WCDMA, CDMA2000 and GSM/EDGE transmitters, as well as high data-rate radio services including Wireless Local Loop (WLL), Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS), and Broadband Wireless Access (BWA).
Integrating a low-noise PLL and requiring a single 3.3V power supply, the device reduces architectural complexity and hence overall system cost. Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) is -80dBc at 2.5MHz.
