The broadest family of sealed, surface mount, single turn trimmers
The Bourns® Trimpot® 3312 is 2mm in size and the smallest sealed trimmer available for medical applications.
Bourns has supplied the medical industry with quality, dependable and cost-effective products for more than 40 years. Its Trimpot products find use in patient diagnosis applications, such as equipment for diagnostic and imaging, emergency and patient monitoring, automated infusion, injection and liquid dispensing, patient care, mobility, therapy and surgical.
The Bourns Trimpot family features reliable, high quality trimmers of various sizes with options such as low resistance, tight tolerances and special testing. The 3312 model is a 2mm sealed, single turn trimming potentiometer that saves space in circuit boards and provides high reliability. Although miniature in size, its performance excels. A like for like comparison of the 3312 versus its 2mm open frame counterpart clearly shows the 3312’s superior performance (see table).
For designs requiring a miniature device with a precise, low total resistance, model 3312 is currently the only 2mm trimmer available and offers 10Ω, 20Ω and 50Ω total resistance values. The robust construction equips model 3312 for use in high reliability applications.
In addition to the 2mm 3312, there are 3mm, 4mm and 6mm Trimpot models, 3313, 3314 and 3316, respectively. All are sealed, surface mount, single turn models that can withstand water washing processes.
