Isolated DC/DC Power Converters

The PowerlinePlus DC/DC converter modules minimise internal heat dissipation and maximise heat transfer into the ambient environment.

Recom’s PowerlinePlus series of 20W to 50W power range DC/DC converter modules incorporate Recom’s proprietary ICE (Innovation in Converter Excellence) technology. ICE combines a number of innovative techniques that minimise internal heat dissipation and maximise heat transfer into the ambient environment.



The devices are fully protected with undervoltage lockout protection, overload, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, plus short-circuit current limiting. PowerlinePlus converters have an integrated heat sink to deliver more power over a wider temperature range while requiring less space and cost than equivalent solutions available on the market.

Coping with temperatures between -45°C and +120°C, these modules satisfy the requirements of many military, avionics and high-end industrial applications. Built-in Class B EMC filters mean they are compliant to EN55022 standards.

Offered in a 40.6mm x 25.4mm x 11.7mm package, the PowerlinePlus converters can deliver power conversion efficiencies in excess of 90% and have 2kVDC voltage isolation levels.
