High Density DC/DC Converters

The LGA C series of DC/DC converters from Emerson Network Power is designed for space constrained, board mounted system designs. These IEC-60068-2-58 rated, high-density power supply solutions offer a cost-effective means to deliver between 15W and 100W in a low-profile format (typically 3.2mm).

Contained in ultra-compact Land Grid Array (LGA) packaging, the LGA C series of non-isolated board-mount DC/DC converters from Emerson Network Power is designed to deliver power levels between 15W and 100W to space-constrained system designs. Offered with 3A, 6A, 10A and 20A current ratings, each device has a footprint of 16.26mm x 16.26mm giving development engineers a convenient power migration path should their design requirements need to be altered at short notice.



The LGA C series’ input voltage range spans from 3.0VDC to 13.8VDC, with an adjustable output range of 0.59VDC to 5.1VDC, which reduces the number of module types needed to support multiple applications.

Fully equipped with undervoltage lockout, differential remote sense, output margining and short-circuit protection features, the series offers high power-conversion efficiencies (normally 92% at full load) under standard operating conditions and accommodates a broad operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC.

The converters have an expected operating lifespan in excess of 20,000,000 hours. They can be mounted on either side of a circuit board for flexible space management and are fully compatible with automated assembly processes.
