Free STMicroelectronics Op-Amp/Comparator Sample Cards
STMicroelectronics has brought out four new families of op-amps and comparators which can now be easily evaluated by ordering a free samples card from Arrow.
The new low voltage, low power op-amps families, TSV91x and TSV99x are available i n single, dual and quad versions. They are rail-to-rail both at input and output, providing high dynamic range, up to 15mV from the rails. The devices feature an excellent speed to power consumption ratio: 8MHz, 780µA , unity gain stable for TSV91x and 20MHz, 780µA stable for gain equal or above 3 for TSV99x (stability for a capacitive load of 100pF). Operating from 2.5V to 5.5V, the op-amps are CMOS input devices, providing an ultra low input bias current of only 1pA. They sustain high electrostatic discharge (5kV for human body model), are fully specified to the industrial -40°C to +125°C temperature range, and are available in SOT23-5, SO-8, TSSOP14, SO-14 packages. The TSV91x family is automotive qualified.
ST has entered the precision market with its new single op-amp, the TS507, which features an ultra low offset voltage of 100µV maximum, 25µV typical. The drift in temperature is quite low, which allows for an input offset voltage maximum of 250µV from 0°C to +85°C and an offset of 400µV from -40°C to +125°C. All DC parameters are quite good for this precision amplifier: open loop gain of 130dB, power supply rejection ratio of 105dB and common mode rejection ratio of 115dB. The TS507 operates from -2.7V to 5.5V and is a rail-to-rail input and output op-amp. The bandwidth of this amplifier is 1.9MHz. It can deliver very high output current up to 120mA and has a high tolerance to ESD - above 5kV for human body model. It is available in SOT23-5 and SO-8 packages and is qualified for automotive applications.
Also represented on the sample cards is a new family of single and dual high speed comparators, the TS3021 and TS3022. These devices feature an excellent speed to power ratio, with a very short response time (33ns) and a consumption of 64µA. They operate from 1.8V to 5V and are rail-to-rail input, push-pull output. They are fully specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and are available in micro-packages SOT23-5, SC70-5, MSO8 and SO-8. Both products are automotive qualified.
